Wear the  Buffalo Bills jersey to attend the 50th anniversary

The Buffalo Bills are turning back the clock and trying to take advantage of 50 years in professional football by wearing a special addition Buffalo Bills jersey and marketing it to the public.

The team unveiled its 50th anniversary jersey Thursday night at St. John Fisher College. The Bills are one of only eight teams in the NFL who were original members of the old American Football League. This Buffalo Bills uniform is modeled after the ones the team wore back in 1960.

Bills Owner Ralph Wilson couldn't make it, but Terrell Owens, Trent Edwards and Chris Kelsay modeled the throwbacks. Fans say they bring back memories.

"It's nice to see it, but it's a marketing thing. So everybody has got to run out and buy a new NFL jersey, but that's life," said Don Bartz, Bills fan.

The Bills will wear these jerseys on the field for the first time Sunday, August 9 during the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. They will wear them again to kick off the season in September.
